children's day in turkey
we have celebrated "children's day" in turkey since 1927. m.kemal atatürk who is the most important leader of turkey, proclaimed that day is "children's day" to the children of turkey and the world.
every year, children who are from lots of different countries, come to turkey, especially istanbul and ankara that it's capital city. there are many events such as big stadium shows. some turkish families put some children up. for example; one child who is from italy, can be guest to one turkish family's house. the child lives there during the fest. in this way, the children can find to chance for company with each other. also they can learn different cultures from the other's countries.
that day, activities start from morning. all children wear the cultural costumes from their countries. so, you can't imagine that "what a beatiful and colorful view" is there. all of them are in happiness and cheerful. when I was child, I joined to some activities of the fest. I still remember that how much of a magical it was. when people were a child, they look at the world with different way. everything is simple and easy and charming in childhood :) so you can guess, if you were a child and took part of children's day that you would be the happiest child of the world :) I don't remember now but probably I felt myself like "alice in wonderland".
if I'm not wrong, the celebraiton which celebrated in turkey, is only international organization all around the world
