I think, it was 1 year ago. I was going to the city where my parents lived. We are living in different cities so I go there once a month. And as to be expected, I've had a lot of experience with journeys!
Usually, I go alone and mostly I prefer to sleep during the journey. Sometimes I read a book or I listen to music, but that time, i could'nt do even one of them. No sleeping, no reading, no music! It was awful. There was a child. I think he was 5 years old. He was sitting behind me with his mother and he was always moving in his seat. At the beginning, I didn't mind, I just tried to focus on other things but it was impossible. Because he was starting to touch my hair/head. Also he was eating candy and his hands were sticky and dirty. It was a really uncomfortable situation. Of course, I said something to him many times. For example "please honey, don't touch my head, your hand is dirty,Say to mum and clean-up your hands!" I was saying this with a loud voice because I wanted his mother to hear! Of course, she heard me but she didn't do anything. Just she was speaking her child with sooooo soft voice! I was getting crazy but I had no choice. I was on the bus and on the way! After that, he was starting to cry in a horrible sound! The assistant driver came there and he asked the woman "what's wrong with your child lady?" and she was quite angry! and she answered "Nothing, why? he is just a child. You must be patient!" and then the assistant said that "no lady, you're his mother and only you, must be patient, not us. Now, please try to calm your child. You and your son are disturbing the other passengers" After that, unfortunately nothing changed, he continued to cry and make noise.
The journey takes six hours. So you can imagine, how much of a disaster it was! It was like torture. Finally I arrived home. I went back after three days and that time, I couldn't know, there was a big surprise for me! I got on the bus and guess what?!? Yes! She and her son were on the bus!! Same day, same time and same bus! I know it's unbelievable but it's true. At least this time they were not sitting behind me. Thank God :) I could come back home in peace. So, I can say that this journey was one of my nightmare journeys.
